Personal Benefits
1) Blogging has contributed to my own growth as a writer because it gives you away to express your own feelings, your own opinions and get feedback from others. Also it opens your eyes to different social issues that others might be to scared to even talk about.
2)In a way blogging has made a new voice for me because anyone can write something that a teacher tells you to write but when you can talk about something coming from your mind, your heart, your strong opinion and don't have to worry about being "safe," so I can say whatever I want.
3)I will for sure keep blogging after this, in a weird way its alot of fun. It's fun to go and check out other peoples blogs in your spare time, see what people say on your blog and post things that mean alot to you.
Societal Benefits
1) blogging can form new relationships between people in society because by you explaining something that most people would be like "no way can't talk about that" they'll see its ok to express yourself there's no right or wrong and you can talk about your disagreements or what you do agree on with eachother.
2)I haven't really commented on people i knew prier to blogging just outside of the class
3)I have talked to people outside of my classroom and discussed some things and it was a new experience for me a great one at that.
Redefining Media
1)The role of media in blogging is pretty important, your point of view matters
2)In media forms they only show certain parts they don't tell you the whole truth to probably make America look like this perfect place, but blogging shows real people who live in America to say "hey this is what's really going on" for me I think I contribute to that because as obvious as it is i'm a very proud Latina and i'm going to say whats up, whats going on in the latin world, but that goes for every other race thats dealing with issues media doesn't really talk about, thats just an example
3)Blogs have changed my point of view on media because i'll admit, i never really thought about it, I never noticed it but when the subject was brought up a light bulb just lit up and it opened my eyes
4) I don't think there's a limit or there shouldn't be one. People should be free to say whatever they want or feel we have rights to state our opinion. I might be young but i can still say how I feel. So no there's no limit, If someone thinks there should be one well...bull :)
